First impressions are so important when selling – Make yours count!

Sometimes the best thing you can do to get the money out of your house is to put money into your house.  This property was on the market for 10 months before the HappyPainters gave it a new look.  The place had been through two owners in the last fifteen years and hadn’t been painted in all that time.

It was originally a mobile home that was mounted on a foundation; and it had paneled walls reminiscent of mobile homes built in the 80’s and 90’s.  There was plenty of differed maintenance and LOTS of nail/pin holes – over 350 of them, actually. IMG_1256Some of the trim in windows and doors needed to be replaced and we caulked all the joints in the walls as well as all the trim to give it more of the feel of a site-built house; and we did our best to hide the unsightly natural-wood false beam that separated the living room from the dining area and kitchen,

It was decided we would update the overall look by going with ultra-white Benjamin Moore Muresco ceiling paint, white trim and Elmira white for the walls, which went great with the green tile in the kitchen. The results speak for themselves:IMG_1309
